Upon emancipation from foster care, former foster youth can obtain: Quality Affordable Housing, Case Management, Mental Health Services, Independent Living Program, Health Services, Resident Advisor, Mentorship Program, Individualized Transition Planning, and Community Building Activities.
Admission Criteria: 18-20 years old; Medi-Cal eligible; History of DCFS placement after age 16; Motivation to participate in YMO Community.

EOPS offers info & referral, counseling, educational grants, financial aid for books, transportation assist, mentoring, student work program, emergency no interest loans, transfer fee waiver. CARE is a special EOPS program for single parents (all ages) receiving government financial assistance & helps with childcare, gas cards & many other services. Also program for youth 16-21 yrs emancipating from foster care or seeking to live independent of their guardians.
